Our pre-slam gathering of all the poets, coaches, and interested poets. You don’t have to be registered to slam at LTAB to come to Crossing the Street. We invite you to come see what it’s all about! Lunch provided! Special guest Tacoma Poet Laureate Kellie Richardson will be there to speak and perform some her rad poems!

The flyest DJ in Tacoma is going to teach you how to work the crowd as you work the turntables. Smokey Wonder walks you through the history of form and shows you how to work with spoke word artists and MCs. Poets: slide through to collab in real time with DJs.
